Meat Sauce:

- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Assembly:
- 1 package (25 ounces) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage and onion until browned. Add garlic, marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer the Ingredients: Grease the slow cooker and start layering: meat sauce, frozen ravioli, cheeses. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, until ravioli is tender and heated through.
- Serve: Garnish with basil or parsley and serve hot.
