Ground Turkey Mixture:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
Additional:
- Hamburger buns, for serving
Instructions
- Cook Ground Turkey: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook ground turkey until browned.
- Add Vegetables: Add onion and bell pepper, cook until softened. Stir in garlic.
- Make Sauce: Add ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir, then add water.
- Simmer: Reduce heat, simmer for 8–10 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve: Spoon mixture onto hamburger buns and enjoy!

- For added flavor, toast the buns before serving.
