- 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced

Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Cook the Meatballs: Brown the meatballs in olive oil until mostly cooked through. Set aside.
- Caramelize the Onions: In the same skillet, cook onions and thyme until deeply caramelized. Stir in flour, then beef broth.
- Simmer: Return meatballs to the skillet, simmer in the sauce, and top with cheese until melted.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy hot.
