- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh peaches (peeled and diced)
- Vegetable oil for frying
- For the glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2–3 tablespoons milk or peach juice, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until just combined.
- Folding Peaches: Fold in the diced peaches.
- Frying: Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Drop tablespoons of batter into the oil, fry each fritter for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Glazing: Whisk together powdered sugar, milk or peach juice, and vanilla. Dip or drizzle the glaze over warm fritters.
