Instructions

  3. Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and frothy. Slowly mix in the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the remaining chocolate chips or chunks. Let the dough sit to thicken.
  6. Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
