  • 2 pounds chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top and lightly grease it.
  2. Season wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated. Arrange wings on the rack in a single layer.
  3. Bake wings: Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Make the sauce: While the wings bake, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Coat wings: Transfer the baked wings to a large bowl, pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the top, and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
