Ingredients

Chicken Drumsticks:

8 chicken drumsticks

Seasoning:

2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Optional:

1 tablespoon lemon juice or BBQ sauce for finishing


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C).
  2. Prepare the Chicken: In a large bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels, then toss them in the spice mixture until fully coated.
  3. Grill the Chicken: Place the chicken legs on the grill and cook for 30–35 minutes, turning every 5–7 minutes. Brush with lemon juice or BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes. Chicken is done at 165°F (74°C).
  4. Rest and Serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
