- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin (optional)

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash the avocados to your desired consistency using a fork or potato masher. Add the red onion, tomato, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, salt, and cumin if using.
- Stir everything together until well combined. Fold in the diced jalapeño if you want extra heat.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve immediately with chips, tacos, or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

- For a smoother texture, mash the avocados more thoroughly.
- To keep the guacamole from browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface or store with a thin layer of lime juice on top.
