  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Halloween-colored M&M’s or candy-coated chocolates
  • 1/4 cup orange and black sprinkles
  • Candy eyes (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Add mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips, M&M’s, and sprinkles.
  7. Scoop and bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Press extra candies and candy eyes on top of each dough ball for decoration.
  8. Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
