- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Sauce:
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- Juice of 1 lemon
For Serving:
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Steamed white rice
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: Pat shrimp dry and coat with a mixture of flour, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the Shrimp: Sauté garlic in butter and olive oil. Add shrimp and cook until pink. Pour in broth and lemon juice, simmer until thickened.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with steamed rice.
