Description

These Healthy Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters offer a guilt-free indulgence by combining creamy Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, and rich chocolate. Perfect as a refreshing frozen treat, they are easy to make and customizable with dairy-free and vegan options.

Ingredients

Scale

Cluster Mixture

  • 2 cups Plain Greek Yogurt (Substitute with dairy-free yogurt for a vegan option)
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries (Can replace with blueberries or raspberries)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey (Use maple syrup for a vegan alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips (Dark chocolate or dairy-free chips can be used)
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil (Butter can be used if coconut oil isn’t available)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yogurt mixture: In a large bowl, gently mix together chopped strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract until everything is well blended and creamy.
  2. Form clusters: Using a spoon, portion out approximately 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture onto a lined baking sheet, forming delightful little clusters.
  3. Freeze clusters: Slide the baking sheet into the freezer and let the clusters freeze for about 1-2 hours until they are completely solid and firm.
  4. Melt chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips along with the coconut oil, checking every 15-30 seconds and stirring until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  5. Coat clusters: Take the frozen clusters out of the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  6. Set chocolate: Place the chocolate-covered clusters back on the baking sheet and return them to the freezer for a few more minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with a dairy-free yogurt and use maple syrup instead of honey.
  • Alternative berries such as blueberries or raspberries can be used in place of strawberries.
  • Use dark chocolate or dairy-free chips to keep the clusters dairy free.
  • Store the clusters in the freezer to keep them firm and enjoyable as a frozen snack.
