  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Noodles: Cook egg noodles until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Cook Beef: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Add garlic, cook briefly, then drain.
  4. Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, mix mushroom soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Add beef mixture and noodles.
  5. Assemble: Transfer mixture to baking dish, top with mozzarella.
  6. Add Topping: Combine breadcrumbs with melted butter, sprinkle over casserole.
  7. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly. Rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
