Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and pork: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and pork until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
  2. Sear the beef cubes: In the same skillet, sear the beef cubes on all sides until browned (optional, for added flavor), then add to the slow cooker.
  3. Add ingredients to the slow cooker: Add the diced onion, garlic, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, and beef broth to the slow cooker. Stir in spices, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well.
