- 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Greasing:

Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Beef Mixture: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet, season, and drain excess grease.
- Prepare Soup Mixture: Mix cream of mushroom soup and milk in a bowl.
- Layer Ingredients: Alternate layers of potatoes, beef, and soup in the baking dish.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes, then top with cheese and bake uncovered for additional 15–20 minutes.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.
