  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Layering:

  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

Greasing:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Beef Mixture: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet, season, and drain excess grease.
