Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and garlic powder. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly. Stir in cheddar cheese and chives. Gradually add milk until dough forms.
- Shape and bake: Turn the dough onto a floured surface, pat into a round, cut with a biscuit cutter, and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Finish: Brush warm biscuits with melted butter and serve.
