- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs or panko
- 2 large eggs

- Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine chicken pieces, buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Breading Station: Set up three bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Bread the Chicken: Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip in egg, and coat in breadcrumbs.
- Fry the Nuggets: Heat oil to 350°F, then fry chicken in batches for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
