Ingredients

Black Tea:

2 black tea bags

Water:

1 1/2 cups

Milk:

1 cup whole milk (or milk of choice)

Sweetener:

2 tablespoons honey or sugar

Vanilla Extract:

1/2 teaspoon

Cinnamon:

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Garnish:

Cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Boil Water: Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Steep for 4-5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and discard.

  3. Mix Ingredients: Add the milk, honey or sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon to the brewed tea.
  4. Return the saucepan to low heat and stir until warmed through and sweetener is dissolved. Do not boil.

  5. Serve: Pour the milk tea into mugs and garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired. Serve warm.
