Ingredients
Apples:
6 pounds apples (such as Fuji, Gala, or McIntosh), peeled, cored, and chopped;
Sugar Mixture:
2 cups granulated sugar; 1 cup brown sugar, packed; 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon; 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves; 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg; 1/4 teaspoon salt;
Additional:
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Apples: Place the chopped apples into a slow cooker.
- Cook the Mixture: Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt. Cook on low for 10 hours.
