Description

This Jalapeño Popper Dip with Ground Beef is a spicy and cheesy appetizer perfect for parties or game day gatherings. Creamy and flavorful, it’s a crowd-pleaser that will have everyone coming back for more.

Ingredients

Scale

For the dip:

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños (chopped)
  • 12 fresh jalapeños (deseeded and finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the topping (optional):

  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Mix the dip: In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in the cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, chopped jalapeños, and the cooked ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake: Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. If using, mix the panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  5. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette.

Notes

  • For extra heat, leave some seeds in the fresh jalapeños or add hot sauce.
  • You can make this dip ahead of time and refrigerate—just add the topping and bake before serving.
