This Lasagna Dip recipe is a crowd-pleasing appetizer that combines all the flavors of traditional lasagna in a creamy, cheesy dip. Perfect for parties or gatherings, this dish is sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

Scale

Main Dip:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Cheesy Layer:

  • 8 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Serving:

  • Baguette slices or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned, about 6-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season the beef: Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Prepare the cheesy layer: In a small bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan until combined.
  5. Layer the dip: Spread the meat sauce in an oven-safe dish. Dollop the ricotta mixture over the sauce, then sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake: Bake uncovered for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish and serve: Garnish with basil and parsley. Serve hot with baguette slices or crackers.
