- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes

- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
For the cheese mixture:
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the soup: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Cook ground beef or sausage until browned. Add onion, garlic, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, and broth. Bring to a boil.
- Cook the noodles: Add broken lasagna noodles to the pot and simmer for 12–15 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
- Make the cheese mixture: In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
