Instructions

- Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until a soft dough forms.
- Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, flatten slightly, and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden.
- Make icing: Whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, milk, and salt until smooth.
