For the Ground Beef:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Tacos:
- 2 cups prepared macaroni and cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 small flour tortillas
- butter or oil for toasting
- shredded lettuce and sliced pickles for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed. Stir in ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Prepare the Mac & Cheese: Warm the macaroni and cheese and stir in ½ cup of shredded cheddar.
- Assemble the Tacos: Warm tortillas, divide beef mixture among them, add mac & cheese, sprinkle cheddar. Fold tacos and toast in a skillet until golden and melty inside.
- Serve: Garnish with lettuce, pickles, or sauce.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add crushed potato chips inside the taco before folding.
- You can use burger sauce or Thousand Island dressing for dipping.
