- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Wet Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
- a few drops of natural green food coloring (optional)
- crushed mint leaves or extra chocolate chips for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a jar or airtight container, mix oats, chia seeds, milk, yogurt, maple syrup or honey, and peppermint extract. Add green food coloring for a minty hue. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate: Seal the container and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- Serve: Stir well in the morning and top with extra chocolate chips or mint leaves before enjoying.
