Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (optional, for thinner wash)

Additional:

  • powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut into 6 rectangles.
  3. Add Filling: Spread Nutella on half of each rectangle, fold over, and seal edges with a fork.
  4. Brush with Egg Wash: Brush pastries with beaten egg (mixed with milk if desired).
  5. Bake: Place on baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
  6. Finish: Dust with powdered sugar, cool slightly, and serve.
