- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (plus more for rolling)

Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Add flour and nuts: Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms. Stir in the chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
- Form dough balls: Scoop out tablespoonfuls of dough and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes until bottoms are golden. Let cool for 5 minutes, then roll in powdered sugar while warm. Once cooled, roll in powdered sugar again.
