- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
Additional ingredients:
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 hamburger buns (split)
- 8 slices pepperoni (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning it with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir in the pizza sauce and cheeses.
- Assemble the burgers: Spread the beef mixture on the bottom halves of the buns, top with remaining mozzarella and pepperoni if desired. Brush the top halves with olive oil.
- Bake: Bake the assembled burgers for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Enjoy the pizza burgers hot!
