- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
Sauce and Seasonings:
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Additional:
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Saute Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a large pot. Cook diced onion until softened, then add garlic and cook briefly.
- Cook Ground Beef: Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it up.
- Add Ingredients: Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, seasonings. Bring to a boil.
- Cook Pasta: Add macaroni, simmer for 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Finish and Serve: Stir in cheddar cheese if desired, garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or sausage for the beef.
