  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef

Sauce and Seasonings:

  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Additional:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Saute Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a large pot. Cook diced onion until softened, then add garlic and cook briefly.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it up.
  3. Add Ingredients: Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, seasonings. Bring to a boil.
  4. Cook Pasta: Add macaroni, simmer for 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
  5. Finish and Serve: Stir in cheddar cheese if desired, garnish with parsley before serving.
