Pan-Fried Peaches:
- 4 ripe peaches halved and pitted
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cut and Prep Peaches: Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.
- Cook Peaches: Heat a large skillet, melt butter, add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt. Place peaches cut side down in the skillet, cook until golden, flip and cook until tender.
- Serve: Remove from skillet and serve warm with desired toppings.
Notes
- For extra crunch, sprinkle chopped pecans or granola over the peaches before serving.
- If peaches are not very sweet, drizzle with a little honey after cooking.
