Cookie Bars:

Frosting:
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix wet ingredients: Cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until well combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.
- Bake: Spread the dough in the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and set. Cool for 10–15 minutes.
- Make frosting: Beat peanut butter and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
- Frost: Frost the warm bars and cool completely before slicing.
