- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee or espresso powder (optional, for a stronger mocha flavor)

Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the half-and-half, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar until smooth.
- Heat until warm and the sugar has dissolved, but do not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and instant coffee (if using).
- Let cool slightly, then pour into a jar or bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Shake well before each use.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, substitute the half-and-half and cream with coconut milk or almond milk.
- You can also omit the instant coffee if you prefer just peppermint-chocolate flavor without the mocha.
- Adjust peppermint extract to taste—a little goes a long way!
