Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Coconut Mixture: Combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and almond extract in a bowl.
- Beat Egg Whites: In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form.
- Combine Mixtures: Gently fold beaten egg whites into the coconut mixture.
- Bake: Drop mixture mounds onto the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Cool and Serve: Cool on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack. Optionally, dip in melted chocolate.
