Description

  • Sweet Onions:

  • 1 cup finely chopped
  • Jalapeños:

  • Apple Cider Vinegar:

  • Granulated Sugar:

  • ½ cup
  • Mustard Seeds:

  • 1 teaspoon
  • Celery Seeds:

  • ½ teaspoon
  • Salt:

  • ½ teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vinegar Mixture: In a medium saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, mustard seeds, celery seeds, and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add Vegetables: Add chopped peppers, onions, and jalapeños (if using). Simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are softened and liquid reduces slightly.
  3. Cool and Refrigerate: Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Transfer to a clean jar with a tight lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to let flavors develop.
