Cheese Spread:
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 (4-ounce) jar diced pimentos (drained)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
- Stir everything together until well mixed and creamy.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature with crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.
Add the mayonnaise, diced pimentos, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper if using, and a pinch of salt and black pepper.
