Steak:
- 1 pound sirloin or flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Skewers:
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- ½ cup mini pepperoni slices
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce (for serving)
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Prepare Skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes. Toss steak cubes with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble Skewers: Thread steak, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, and mini pepperoni onto skewers.
- Grill: Preheat grill or grill pan. Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until steak is cooked to desired doneness and vegetables are charred.
- Melt Cheese: In the last 2 minutes, sprinkle skewers with mozzarella cheese and cover briefly to melt.
- Serve: Serve hot with pizza sauce for dipping.
