  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk eggs, maple syrup, applesauce, almond butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Bake: Pour batter into the pan, spread evenly, and bake for 18–22 minutes until set. Cool before cutting into squares.
