- 1 scoop (about 30g) chocolate protein powder
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon almond flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 ounce dark chocolate square (for center)
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the protein powder, cocoa powder, almond flour, and baking powder. Stir in the almond butter, almond milk, and maple syrup until you have a smooth, thick batter.
- Lightly grease a ramekin or small mug and pour in half the batter. Place the dark chocolate square in the center, then top with the remaining batter.
- Microwave on high for 45–60 seconds, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft. Do not overcook. Allow to rest for 1 minute before serving warm.
Notes
- For an oven-baked version, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
- Use a plant-based protein for a dairy-free option.
