  • 1 scoop (about 30g) chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon almond flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 ounce dark chocolate square (for center)

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the protein powder, cocoa powder, almond flour, and baking powder. Stir in the almond butter, almond milk, and maple syrup until you have a smooth, thick batter.
  2. Lightly grease a ramekin or small mug and pour in half the batter. Place the dark chocolate square in the center, then top with the remaining batter.
  3. Microwave on high for 45–60 seconds, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft. Do not overcook. Allow to rest for 1 minute before serving warm.

Notes

  • For an oven-baked version, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
