Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: Beat in the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Prepare cream cheese filling: In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until smooth.
