Samosa Chaat Ingredients:

  • 4 medium vegetable samosas (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas (chole)
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind chutney
  • 2 tablespoons green mint chutney
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup sev (crispy chickpea noodles)

Instructions

  1. Bake or fry the samosas: Until crisp and hot, then place each samosa on a serving plate and lightly crush them.
  2. Top with chickpeas and vegetables: Add warm chickpeas, chopped onions, tomatoes, and cilantro.
  3. Drizzle with chutneys and yogurt: Add yogurt, tamarind chutney, and green chutney on top.
  4. Season and garnish: Sprinkle chaat masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Garnish with sev and pomegranate seeds.
