  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional topping:

  • Chocolate shavings or curls
  • Fresh passion fruit pulp
  • Mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate cake: Preheat the oven, mix dry ingredients, add wet ingredients, incorporate boiling water, divide batter, bake, and cool.
  2. Make the passion fruit mousse: Soften gelatin, heat passion fruit pulp with sugar, dissolve gelatin, whip cream, fold in passion fruit mixture, chill.
  3. Assemble the cake: Layer cake with mousse, top with second cake, cover with more mousse, add toppings, chill before serving.
