Chicken:
- 1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Sauce:
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
Additional:
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta (broken in half)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: Place chicken breasts in a greased slow cooker, season with spices.
- Add Sauce: Pour in cream, broth, Parmesan, and butter. Gently stir.
- Cook Chicken: Cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until tender.
- Shred Chicken: Remove, shred or slice, then return to slow cooker.
- Add Pasta: Stir in fettuccine, cook for 20–30 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Finish: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra richness, add 4 oz cream cheese.
- Stir in steamed broccoli or peas for added veggies.
- If sauce thickens, add warm broth or milk.
