Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup frozen green beans or mixed vegetables (optional)
Instructions
- Spray the slow cooker: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Prepare the stuffing mixture: In a medium bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth. Stir in the stuffing mix until well combined.
- Layer the ingredients: Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken. Add vegetables if desired.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2.5–3 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Serve: Serve warm with a spoonful of stuffing over each chicken breast.
Notes
- You can substitute cream of mushroom or celery soup if preferred.
- For crispier stuffing, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
