Macaroni and Cheese:
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, sliced
Instructions
- Prep Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- Mix Ingredients: Add the uncooked macaroni, whole milk, evaporated milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cheddar, mozzarella, and butter. Stir until evenly combined.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring halfway. Check pasta tenderness after 2 hours; cook extra 30 minutes if needed. Stir well before serving hot.
