- 6 slices bacon, chopped

Instructions
- Preheat oven and prep beans: Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Blanch green beans in boiling water, then drain and rinse.
- Cook bacon and onions: Cook chopped bacon until crispy. Sauté diced onion in bacon fat until soft. Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Make the sauce: Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, butter, and black pepper. Cook until slightly thickened.
- Combine and bake: Toss green beans with sauce and half the bacon. Transfer to baking dish, top with remaining bacon, and bake for 20–25 minutes.
