Description

These Spicy Tuna Crunchwraps are a delicious and satisfying meal option that combines the bold flavors of tuna with a crispy texture in a convenient wrap. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, these wraps are easy to make and customizable to suit your taste preferences.

Ingredients

Scale

Tuna Filling:

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (more to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

Wrap Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced cucumber
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • ½ avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup crispy wonton strips or crushed tortilla chips
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 4 small corn tortillas (or tostada shells, optional)
  • Neutral oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Tuna Filling: In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, and green onions until well combined.
  2. Assembly: Warm the flour tortillas slightly. Spoon tuna mixture onto a flour tortilla, add lettuce, cucumber, carrots, avocado, and crispy strips. Optionally, add a small corn tortilla on top for extra crunch.
  3. Folding: Fold the edges of the flour tortilla over the filling, sealing tightly in a circular motion.
  4. Cooking: Cook the crunchwrap seam-side down in a skillet with oil for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Repeat for remaining wraps.
  5. Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute canned salmon or cooked shredded chicken.
  • For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or use a spicy mayo.
  • The wraps can be made ahead and reheated in a skillet or air fryer.
