Description

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional:

  • A few dashes of hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and hot sauce (if using). Whisk until smooth.
  2. Simmer: Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook for 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened and flavors have melded.
  3. Cool and Store: Remove from heat, let cool completely. Transfer to a jar or airtight container, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to enhance flavors.
