Indulge in a comforting and satisfying meal with this Stovetop Creamy Ground Beef Pasta recipe. Perfect for a quick and easy dinner, this one-pot pasta dish is rich, creamy, and loaded with savory flavors. The combination of tender ground beef, creamy cheeses, and aromatic seasonings makes it a family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Creamy Ground Beef Pasta:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rotini)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
  2. Cook the ground beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Saute onions and garlic: Add the diced onion and cook until softened, then stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Add liquids and pasta: Pour in the beef broth and milk, then add the uncooked pasta, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Simmer: Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
  6. Add cheeses: Stir in Parmesan and shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Rest and garnish: Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Add a handful of spinach or peas at the end for a veggie boost.
