For the Hand Pies:
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup mini pepperoni slices
- ¼ cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage
- 2 tablespoons diced green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons diced red onion
- 2 tablespoons sliced black olives
- ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Crusts: Roll out the pie crusts and cut into 8 equal pieces.
- Make Filling: Mix pizza sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, olives, and seasoning. Spoon onto 4 crust pieces.
- Assemble Pies: Brush edges with egg wash, top with remaining crust pieces, seal edges, and vent the tops.
