For the Stir-Fry:
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
For the Teriyaki Sauce:
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

Instructions
- Cook the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok. Stir-fry the beef slices until browned, then set aside.
- Sauté the Broccoli: In the same skillet, sauté the broccoli until tender-crisp.
- Make the Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add to the skillet with broccoli.
- Thicken the Sauce: Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
- Combine and Serve: Return beef to the skillet, toss with sauce, and heat through. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve over rice.
Notes
- You can substitute flank steak with skirt steak or sirloin.
- For a low-carb version, serve over cauliflower rice.
- Add bell peppers or snap peas for extra color and crunch.
