Description

Vegetables:

Teryaki Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Garnish:

  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Make the sauce: In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic. Simmer and thicken with cornstarch mixture.
  3. Combine ingredients: Mix rice, chicken, vegetables, and teriyaki sauce in a bowl.
  4. Bake: Transfer mixture to baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes.
  5. Garnish: Top with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
